The fifth graders have expressed that they would like to do a school newsletter.  Last week and this week, we have been and will continue to brainstorm how they want to create the school newsletter.  On Thursday (Sept. 17th) they will talk to the Principal on their ideas for a school newsletter.  Also during this week, students will start from where they left off from last year on hands-on equations. 

The fourth graders have been doing a unit on What is Gifted.  They have studied what the definition of gifted is and what it means to them.  They have also explored what their strengths and goals are.  During this week and next, they will be creating a self-potrait and then write about their strengths and goals to go with the potrait.  The potraits will be displayed in the room when completed.
